"We need an impulse to listen to each other" - Goethe Institut interviews Brenno Kaschner Russo

On 19 and 20 March 2021 people from across the world were matched in dialogue circles to exchange and act upon burning topics of our time, embarking on the question "How can inclusive solidarity serve as an antidote to populism?".

In this online citizens’ assembly, we invited everyone to explore how solidarity can serve as an antidote to populism. By using The Dialogue Lab methodology, the interaction between individuals was shifted from discussion-based to dialogue-based, enabling a variety of voices and opinions to be heard. The attention was redirected from the need to defend an opinion towards actively listening to different perspectives and allowing collective thinking to take place.

After the event, Patrick Hamouz from the Goethe-Institut interviewed our founder to unfold how the methodology was conceived. You can read the full interview, in German, right here.
